Yeoman Tourney at Great Western War IV
October 6, 2000

The Yeoman Tourney was fought one on one round robin format inside one of the hilltop castles. 8 combatants were armed with bow (in this case all crossbow!), 6 arrows, and their secondary hand weapons. In each bout they were required to stay in seperate corners of the castle until one of the combatants had fired at least three shots, at which time they could choose to close with hand weapons.

The winner of this years GWW Yeoman Tourney was Lord Bartholomew Marchant of Studly Green, squire to Sir Ciaran "I don't remember giving you permission to kill your knight" MacDarragh.

The other entrants were Lord Richard Surefoot, THL Paganus Grimlove, Sir Padraic, THL Amalric von Ryensburg, Natasia MacNeill, Sir Ciaran MacDarragh, and Lord Snorri Snafari Bjornson.
