Flemish Arbalest

Flemish Arbalest - pattern is developed from 14-16th century heavy hunting and war bows, as depicted in Sir Ralph Payne-Galwey's book "The Crossbow" and Egon Harmuth's "Die Armbrust". The fore end bears a strong resemblance to the "Western European type" of windlass bow Joseph Alm depicts in his "European Crossbows", although we've curved the back end of the tiller as in Galwey's English example.

Standard length 30". Stirrup optional. It is currently available in either maple, cherry or walnut.

Base price $225

Without stirrup $205
